“After all, God is God, because He remembers”
Do you ever feel like there is a lot going on in your life and nobody seems to care, and everybody just forgot you. And no, I am not talking about the time your friends forgot your birthday or your best friend didn’t wish you on your anniversary. When things are going really bad in your life and it seems like you need somebody to care for you and nobody remembers you? Most of the people have gone through this. And it is tough. How you wish somebody remembered you. Hoping that the people around you remembered you at all times and not just when your results are published or you get a good job. But when things don’t go your way, when all you need is somebody to know what you are going through and to comfort you and speak to you. Let me tell you, not everybody forgets. There is somebody who remembers you at all times, there is a person who calls you by your name and the world lovingly calls him Jesus. He’s a friend!
“He remembers you, trust me if He didn’t you wouldn’t be here” The most selling book in the world is filled with stories of people who was remembered by this God. Life is not easy for everyone, there are rainbows and there are storms, there are bed of roses and there are paths of thorns and a person goes through all of this. You may have a lot of people remembering you when it’s all sunshine and rainbows, but when you are on the road of pain, struggling for comfort, going through things where you feel like you can’t take it any longer, when it feels like the world around you is crumbling down and just when you think that you can’t move any further, if you listen carefully you’ll hear a still small voice, and that is the voice of the king who remembers your name. He knows everything that is happening to you, then why the worry? God makes promises to all those He loves, unlike the promises made by people, God sticks to his words. His promises are yes and always yes. Because he loves us, the way he loves is indescribable and it transcends our understandings.
So the next time it feels like life is being hard on you, and when it feels like there is no way out, and when it feels like the end of your life and the next time you drop a tear, remember the King is right there, with you, holding your arms, wiping your tears, smiling at you and saying, ‘I know you, trust me it’s going to be all right!’. So just sit back and relax, He knows your name and he’s got it all under control.
